Fathers Day Breakfast...

My husband snapped a few pix on his phone and e'd them to me. I mean, he had all the time in the world Father's Day Sunday. The ladies that cooked only had to be there at like 7:00am no biggie...NOT!! :) We lovingly slaved away over hot stoves to prepare a huge country breakfast!! Now gentlemen you KNOW what happens when a kitchen full of chatty women get together yes? Of course we only talked about how very much we love our men...........snicker, seriously!
The menu consisted of biscuits and home made sausage gravy, scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, sausage patties, lucious hashbrown casserole, baked apples and cherry donut holes....I think that's it? Oh, and homemade stawberry freezer jam.
The tables and decorations looked very nice and the theme was of course sports!
Upon arriving the gentlemen received the standard door prize ticket and if the number was just right they received a home made pound cake!
And when looking at the pictures you wonder what some of these guys have on their heads, yes, they are crowns.....King Daddy-o's for the day, ok I cant even believe I typed that. All in all it turned out quite nice. Thanks to all who pitched in and again, congrats to Mark Whitson who was named Father of the Year but sadly had to work!! Our next event is the FCC picnic in August...watch for details!
