What We're Up To!

The pics you see below are from the very first "Family Gathering" event. This event was created and, still in it's infancy, by our new Youth Minister Andy Frazier.
The first outing was a movie night right here in Erwin TN.
As of September 1, 2010 there will be a weekly "Family Gathering" on Wednesday evenings at 7:00pm. We encourage parents to bring their children and join us!

On to local Missions.........

Each year FCC sponsors a hole at the annual East TN Christian Childrens Home Golf Tournament. This year the players were: Jerry Whitt, one of our Deacons and a friend of his Carroll Deaton, Lee Hemphill another Deacon and Andy Frazier our Youth Minister.

Women's Groups

There are currently three women's groups at FCC they are:
Joy Circle, Hope Circle and Love Circle. These three groups joined together make the Christian Circle.
The Christian Circle meets twice a year to report on what each individual group has been up to and perhaps we will have a guest speaker from one of the missions or organizations we support. Not to mention the Salad Supper!
Each group has their own function with in the Church as well as their own special missions, activites and monthly meetings. At the meetings business is taken care of then typically a lesson or a study of some sort and fellowship.
Sometimes it's just a place we can come together as friends and let our hair down, it's a place to draw closer to each other but more importantly to our Lord and Savior.
